Charlie Darker - Atlantic / Pacific EP



With several tectonic tracks already behind them for 2012, Wolfgang Gartner’s Kindergarten imprint hosts the latest two-track EP of hotly tipped homeland peer Charlie Darker. Off the back of Tom Staar’s recent ‘Cheyenne‘ release, the Canadian talent lesser known as Evan Blair makes his Kindergarten debut with familiar persuasion.

While the rasping leads of ‘Atlantic’ play on some of the more common thematics of festival proof club cuts, Montreal’s Love Thy Brother join in for the melodic yet suitably temperamental sound clash of ‘Pacific’ to top this addition to Kindergarten’s initial run of releases after the relaunch. Pinpointing two notable talents from just outside of the stateside comfort zone, Wolfgang Gartner plays the label’s third release close to familiar ground for a fluid yet fierce exploration of modern Electro House.
